Several people with the V2000Z (AMD Turion64) cannot run the 64-bit version of Vista Beta2. It hangs, usually during install on the "please wait..." screen after you've clicked "install"
any thoughts?
(The ISO/Burn is fine)

incompatible with AMD chips? or just V2000z?
I installed and am running 64bit Vista on a V2000z with no issues other than the sound & modem drivers not availible. You might try updating to the latest BIOS from HP. You might want to search on the L2000 (same computer) as well sometimes HP does not keep the releases up to date on their web site. I did a fresh install of the x64 download, my machine has 2GB RAM.
